Congrats to NEMIC’s 2024 MedTech Leadership Graduates

Our 2023-24 Med Tech Leadership Program participants have officially graduated! This year’s cohort was our largest and most diverse yet. We hosted a variety of biomedical engineering and medical students from Brown University, professional engineers and copywriters, public health administrators, and designers. We even assisted individuals in finding their spot in the Rhode Island Med Tech ecosystem to re-enter the workforce!

Over the past six months, our participants have gained knowledge and insight into navigating the Medical Technology industry. Students have gone through commercial viability, pricing strategy, clinical trials, pitching a company, and everything in between. We even added a new class this year, Planning + Implementing Market Roadmaps, which was a huge hit.

While our attendance remains consistent, we realize life can get busy. This year, we were very fortunate (and excited) to utilize our NEMIC Virtual Classroom sessions for those who ran into an occasional time conflict. Our Virtual Classroom allowed our students to pick up right where they left off.

Our 28 Med Tech instructors were able to join us in person in the NEMIC classroom and virtually, to share their knowledge, experience, and personal tips + tricks to bring a Med Tech or Digital Health device to market successfully. Our instructors dedicated numerous hours of work to ensure their content is up to date and personalized for each cohort. We couldn’t do it without them!

Thank you to our fantastic participants this year, George Stradtman, Benjamin Mitchell, Allison Navarrete-Welton, Sirene Bellou, Sarah Biester, Ehlayana Napolitano, Sean Buxton, Nayana Harial, Jalal Muhammad, Sam Grossman, Warda Hameed, Crawford George, Andrew Willwerth, Richard Andrews, Emelie Nguyen, Ahbid Zein-Sabatto, Ege Gungor Onal, Sayali Wazalwar, Naishadh Kapade, and Osase Ogboghodo.
